Gather Calendar is an Alexa skill for testing a sample calendar on Echo Show. This notice applies to the native Alexa private beta, not the separate browser prototype.

The skill processes event titles, dates, times and locations you enter by voice or touch, along with Alexa request and session information needed to respond. Event details may contain personal information. Please use fictional details during this beta.

Amazon handles spoken requests and sends the skill the request information needed to respond. The skill does not receive raw audio recordings. Amazon's handling of Alexa activity is governed by Amazon's privacy notices and your Alexa settings.

The skill uses this information to display and edit the demo calendar and confirm changes. Event details are held in Alexa session attributes. The current application code does not write events to a separate calendar database or explicitly log event contents. Ending a skill session ends access to that session's demo events; this does not imply deletion of Amazon's own Alexa history or service records.

The skill runs on Amazon's Alexa-hosted infrastructure. Amazon may retain operational records under its service settings and policies. This notice does not promise a retention period for Amazon-managed records.

This beta does not connect to Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook or iCloud, and does not use advertising or analytics integrations. Event information is processed through Amazon services to provide the skill. The developer does not sell event information.

You can stop a session by saying “Alexa, stop” and disable the skill in Alexa. Manage Alexa activity through Amazon's Alexa privacy settings. Contact the operator above with privacy questions or requests.

This private beta is intended for adult testers and is not directed to children under 13. A revised notice will be needed before adding persistent storage, external calendar connections or additional uses of personal information.
